What did 4Kids do better than Funimation (One Piece)

I liked Gol D Roger, Zolo, the narration, Nami, and Kureha more in 4Kids.

Good voice acting, good music, good action. What's there to hate?

Great voice acting my ass. Shitty accent, shitty bird puns. The only reason the action is any good is because they actually left it in for once.

Nothing at all, FUNimation is all around superior in every way with this dub. Gol D. Roger's voice was decent in both versions, Zolo was an "ok" voice but Sabat nailed it even better. The clearly Seto Kaiba Narrator sucked, especially when he would say "on the last piece of One Piece" every episode, it wasn't cute. Nami and Kureha's voices weren't that good, no offense to the deceased Maddie who voices Kureha.

you want me to list everything? Robin (with her bad accent) says countless stupid things, in fact nearly every line she spoke was stupid. Vivi and Pell both couldn't act for shit, and the music was kinda annoying.

"Kind of annoying"? I think that's an understatement. It sounded as if the guy had a stroke half way through writing it. The notes were all over the place. And yeah, that accent was total shit.

The accent to Robin was sexy do you hear me? SEXY! And what do you have wrong with Viv and Pell's voices? WELL? the bird puns were absolutely gorgeous and sinister. What drugs are you on? Are you crazy? Gold Roger's voice is SUPERB in the 4Kids dub. It's deep, sinister, and intimidating. In the Funimation dub, he sounds like some old crack bumbling homeless person. YUCK! And Sabat sucked as Zoro. The voice was way too deep. He should have pitched that up a lot more and sounded closer to Marc Diraison is who was SPOT ON! Narrator Seto was fine. You're just nutshells.

Nami's voice is fine. Sure, it may have been too Rebecca Hawkins at times, but overall a good voice. Total offense to Maddie. You mind well dig up her grave and burn her bones while you're at it you disrespectful hateful little bastard.

Lies lies and more lies and I fail to see what is wrong with Pell and Viv's voices. Those two, especially Viv, should be characters whose voices you should definitely be liking in the dub above everyone else's you want to be a total ass to.
